CHALLENGES = OPPORTUNITIES

This is the last train of thought our mind goes through when we are going through some obstacles and it's not our fault we are wired this way.

The negative is always amplified so each time we face a challenge our mind goes to the worst case scenario right away.

Quick context - So August was one of the best months for Tryna Get jacked (so far - we boutta 10x this) in a lot of different ways such as

  1. Revenue wise

  2. Apparel coming out

  3. Jacked academy launching (in person workshops)

  4. My Prep going amazing - feel pretty jacked 

  5. Almost 19k followers on IG 

  6. TGJ Community - 50+ members - on our way to 100 

  7. Realizing TGJ is only 2.5 years in - This shit going to be fun

But then on August 31st - I faced a challenge in my personal life (Some financial stuff) even writing this it's all going to be good and i know it. But when it happened initially right away my mind went from feeling like I can finally breathe a bit to being like damn another set back - I started thinking about - I don’t know if I'm going to be able to invest in the apparel stuff, or keep the youtube up or even some content stuff up. Started thinking about how many more clients I would need to make up some of the deficit etc.

The mind is so damn wild - literally from having all thoughts based on abundance it went to scarcity right in 1 moment. 

Of course at the time i'm writing this - I kinda snapped out of it and started focusing on my controllables and seeing what the opportunity here is which is pretty clear now. Better believe all the things i mentioned are still happening - Apparel, comp, youtube, jacked academy, pumping content - all still in full send mode. 

Also - realzied the clear opportunities here are as follows

  • Another opportunity to learn to stay neutral no matter what is happening - focus on the controllables and de attach from the outcome 

  • Reflect on how to set up business and my financial state where its never a problem for myself or my family

  • Opportunity to practice gratitude - when I really think about my situation and put some perspective on it - it's wild how lucky I am to even have this current problem

  • There are probably lots of other opportunities here that are not popping in my mind currently. But I know for a fact there is always a learning or opportunity


So try to really reflect on whatever challenge you are currently facing - first off what are your daily controllables that you can still control and focus on those. Then think about what is the opportunity here?

If we are going through a injury

Is this an opportunity for us to focus on our nutrition, sleep, mindset, knowledge? 

If we are not losing weight or gaining muscle at the rate we want to - this is an opportunity to reflect on are we really putting in all the inputs that we are supposed to be putting in? 

If we are finding workouts hard - this is a opportunity to GET JACKED BOI

You get the point - whatever we are facing - try to think about the learning and opportunity. 

Yes we can just dwell on it and be sad - for sure this may actually be needed in certain situations. But for how long?

This is just my own way of thinking and me writing this was a way of reflecting. Hope this helps.
