GRATITUDE
This is going to be a quick one
But first - i am grateful for you more than you know, you are doing the best you can do in your current phase and state. Dont overly judge yourself. I appreciate you and just know there are people who are more than happy to have you in their lives and you are inspiring them daily without even knowing. So keep showing up 😤
The ultimate hack = GRATITUDE
IF YOUR feeling any sort of way and go in a state of gratitude you can’t help but feel jacked again
It’s literally a hack
Not saying we should just ignore our problems and responsibilities. But saying that if something happens that we aren’t the most happy with and it leads to negative thought patterns. If we just switch that thought pattern to gratitude, now we will be in a better state to think about the possible solutions and what we can actually control in our situations.
Rather than dwelling on what just happened and letting the mind spiral all over the place which leads to no productive action and doesn’t serve anybody around us.
The thing I’m practicing currently is being in that grateful state even when things are going well and CELEBRATING the WINS. Rather than only using this only when things don’t feel right.
And trying to take it a step further by thinking about how I can actually be grateful for a situation that doesn’t actually feel good or is usually perceived as “negative”.
Will take time but it’s a never ending game so
Im going to just focus on winning the day.
So only one action item this week
Choose a time in the day where you implement 5-10 mins of gratitude
A couple ways I try doing this
Everytime I brush my teeth I start thinking about all the bless things
Everytime I cold shower - start thinking about all the people I’m grateful for
Before bed writing down 10-15 things I’m grateful for
Best way to start is to stack it on something you are already doing.
